Aussie version of NHS Direct

For those of you who don't know there is an Australian version of NHS Direct - you can call 24/7 and be offered telephone triage by a nurse, find out information on health topics or find a suitable health service eg GP, dentist, health helpline or pharmacy etc. The number to call is 18000 22222. Great for those times when you think - now what do I do?? It's a govermwnt sponsored initiative and is available Australia wide.

Actually used this yesterday as Rory has had gastro since Wednesday and has been really poorly. Spoke to a lovely lady called Maria, who sounded like she was from your neck of the woods Lindsey! Very helpful, great common sense advice and above all, very reassuring.
