We have just planned a trip to adelaide and would like to know if we can sort out the medicare paperwork?
any advice would be much appreciated.

Hi, take a look at this website, may help with some questions.

It says at the of the page "People who reside in Australia" are eligible, so looks like you will have to wait until you make the move over.

Yes, check out the website, as not everybody qualifies for Medicare. It depends on your Visa.
