confusion over Medicare on a 475visa

Hi there

Wondering if any fellow 475 visa holders can help, I am really quite confused about what entitlements we have for medicare? I went to see about private health care today and was so confused and have been advised to find out exactly what I am and am not covered for at present? can anyone help?

You should be entitled to reciprocal medicare, which covers you for all medically necessary treatment. Not dental or ambulance though.

You can therefore have a baby on reciprocal medicare as long as it is in a public hospital.
