Heart meds

Could anyone provide some advice please on meds. My hubby had a heart attack a few years ago and had a stent fitted. He will out live us all now lol but must take some meds for life. We realise that health care is different in our chosen country but not sure how he will go on with his medication, medicare and insurances. Advice and insight would be welcomed

I'm the same stent meds etc I take 3 a day + asprine cost me about $80 a month get a six month perscrition at a time and see doctor/nurse every six months for check up take blood etc been going for about six years don't get charged at doctors for this.

Do we need to be registered to a local GP here before we can see them? Thanks.

There are some places that you can just walk in to without an appointment the Domain at Marion is one you might wait for a few hours to be seen, just take your Medicare card with you.If you want to have an appointment you will have to register with a doctors.
