      Travel Insurance for visiting parents

Advice on elderly visitors from UK.
Experiences or companies would be great.

Anyone with experience of travellers with cancer

A reply for what's it worth. I would presume that Medicare would cover the parents on a reciprocal basis once they have arrived in Australia, however there would be no cover whilst travelling, and it is doubtful if any company would cover them for either travelling or for the time they are in Australia. If you look at Martins money pages, he has a section on travel insurance, with the names of some companies that specialise in the older traveller.
      Hope this helps.
