Medical records

You don't. Unless you really want to or you have a past or ongoing medical condition that the doctors here will need the details of. Same for the dentist. In fact even less so for the dentist as they can see from looking at your teeth what has been done or not done. To get medical records if you really want to bring then talk to the receptionist at your practise. You will probably have to fill in a form and pay a fee.

Just FYI, once here you can set up an online account for your medical records. It's only been going a couple of years, and sounds quite a good idea - particularly if you do use a variety of different medical practises:

I don't know (but doubt) whether you can get any UK medical records attached to this, but I guess it's worth asking your UK doctor. And then perhaps you could let others on here know :smile:
