Well we have finally got around to registering and posting our first thread although have been using the site quite a lot reading the posts which have been very helpful.
We fly to Adelaide on the 21st Sept 09 after initially getting our Permanent residency visas back in April 2008, we did manage to validate our visa back in October 08 by going on holiday in Oz, but like a lot of people the delay has been down to the good old credit crunch, having to sell our house etc etc.
Anyway the main reason for this post is to ask, apologies if already been raised, if anyone has sent over like a starter box before their container arrives, so they can at least have the basic stuff to start with, mainly thinking about bedding, basic kitchen stuff like cutlery, plates etc, as didnt particularly want to use our suitcases for anything but clothes and personal items.
If you did who did you use, we were thinking about DHL, and how much did it cost?
