Digital radio?

Quick question for those electronically minded. Just wondering if a digital radio bought in the UK should work over here?

 

Ours isn't working, wondering if we are doing something wrong? Went into Tandy today and they just said yeah should work. But it doesn't. Quite annoying as the same radio here costs more than double what we paid.

Hi Vicky,

 

I have three DAB radios from the UK. None of them work. I think that the UK was an 'early-adopter' of DAB. Australia waited and adopted a better standard, DAB+. Guess what? They are not compatible.

 

DOesn't it make you so proud to be British? Early with so many things ... that are all crap!
