Oz equivalent to a Digestive Biscuit?

Hi all,

 

My Aussie work friend was confused by a recipe that called for digestive biscuits today

 

I tried to explain them but havent really bought any biscuits here to be able to compare them to something. Do the Aussies have their own version? Or nothing like it?

Dont believe anything the same..................but you can get Mcvities choccy digestives in certain shops.........................as a treat:)

Foodland sell digestive's, but they about $4.75.....

Arnotts do one, nowhere near as nice as a good old digestive but nearest thing I've seen, sorry forgot the name of them though, only bought them once:err:

Coles in Gawler do the original or the choccy ones bit pricey but worth it.

Foodland at Seaford do them....less expencive ive seen since ive been here (5) years.They sell normal and choc ones and im telling ya after u have not had one for a year..they taste the same

Coles at Marion have McVites plain digestives

Foodland at Semaphore have McVities biccies. I have got my work colleagues hooked by buying them occasionally and leaving them open in the staffroom..(they'll eat anything!!) - now they can't live without them! (Revels too but they are a special import from my mum - they have made me very popular!!)

Arnotts Shredded Wheatmeal are the equivalent, but not as tasty. As previous posters have said, you can buy McVities Digestives in nearly all IGA and Coles Supermarkets, have not checked Woolies.

Arnotts digestives are really foul ,its worth the extra for mc vities

bought some Mcv.. choc digestives in coles Glenelg - might be one left Jo if you hurry!
