Another curry sauce - yum!

Here's another curry sauce mix - Chinese/chip shop style.

 

Found it in Coles ages ago then went out of stock - but whooopee - it's back in.

 

S&B Golden Curry Sauce mix.

Mild/medium/hot varieties - the medium is mild to me.

$3.99 but makes a few serves.

 

Very similar to sauces in the UK.

 

Just add chicken/onions and peas (or whatever veg you want)

Brown then add boiling water and simmer for 10 mins - then add the sauce mix.

 

YUM!

Just had this last night...was really lovely, just like the chinese at home

Did take me a while to find it in Cole's though, its in the Asian section if anyone is looking for it

There are larger packets down in the Chinese Grocery in the Central Market - the first one as you come out of the market towards Chinatown.

Tyke you sound like someone after my own heart . I'm a big curry fan indian, chinese , thai - the lot. Panicking that I may struggle down under without my carry outs . You sound like you've done research on the subject so anything and everything you can throw my way would be very much appreciated.
