Anyone used Seven Seas shipping?

Hi,

 

Looking into shipping companies for our 10 or so tea chests. I think Seven Seas seem about the best mainly because you get 40kg per box rather than the standard 30kg. Anyone used them? They are all much of a muchness price-wise so trying to differentiate is not easy!

We have just had our belongings collected by them and so far all our experience is positive.

 

We cannot fault them for customer service - each time we rang with a question they knew the answer, the paperwork and documentation was easy to follow, the collection time and their communication was spot on - to the extent that we got a text the morning of expected collection telling us the driver was running 20 minutes early!

 

Not sure really how competitive the cost was, as we did not seriously investigate anyone else, but we personally were happy with a total of around £800 for 20 boxes plus £200 for insurance.

 

We are expecting delivery to us in Adelaide in approx 10 weeks, time will tell if they lived up to the promising start throughout - we'll be tracking our shipment's location online. We did our own packing, so could not comment on their service in that regard, the only person we actually met was a driver who was very friendly.

Thats really helpful thanks. I really liked their website which makes a lot more sense than the others we have looked at and I have researched loads. Just want to make it as pain free as possible!
