Swimming lessons

Now we are all settled & getting back to normal life - haha - I want to find swimming lessons for the children. I know they do them at Noarlunga swimming pool, but am I right in thinking that there are lots of other places that do them at 'swim schools' ? Any recommendations. Don't have a problem with Noarlunga just wanted options to sort best times\days.

 

We are in Hallett Cove so anywhere south of city (within reason) would be good.

Hi Carole. My two go to Blue Dolphin in Happy Valley. Small classes. Great atmosphere. Two purpose built pools. It has suited my kids perfectly.

State swim i believe are excellent in teaching children to swim well, they've got pools in different suburbs check out their website

My kids used to have lessons at Noarlunga....nothing wrong with them at all. But then i looked into Blue Dolphin and gave them a try. IMO...much better.....

 

My boys have been going there now for a couple of yeaers...and they have come on so well. Much more of a personal touch there than Noarlunga...really look at each child individually.

State swim at Morphett Road is a great swim school. Only 10-15 mins away from hallett cove.

Mine have just started (today) at blue Dolphin and after 1 lesson, Jack (8) who was not too happy about the water and adament that he didn't want to go loved it. WOuld recommend them.

My son goes to state swim at seaford rise every sat cant recommend it enough , hes only 3 but after 3 months is almost swimming on his own

Vacswim is a massive program that most Aussies learn to swim at:

It's cheap because it's subsidised by the Government but very well organised.

 

Places fill up quickly.

 

I work with the ladies that run this and I know it is an excellent program.

isn't vacswim a vacation swim ??? We do vacswim every summer hol at the beach early january.

I would also recomend stateswim.Our local one is seaford.

We have been using Blue Dolphin, have been happy enough, but be aware, there is only ONE make-up lesson allowed per term, unless you have a doctors certificate, which is not the same at state swim.
