Paint and painting.

Hiya,

I have noticed whilst driving around the suburbs that many homeowners do not seem to place the same importance on regular painting of their homes as many do back in the UK.There seems to be a lot of lovely houses in Adelaide seriously let down by neglect in the painting department!Well i was in Bunnings today perusing the cost of paint,and could not believe how much a decent tin of quality paint is,like mind bogglingly expensive.I thought"why do the Aussies accept that as the norm?Aussies are good ,honest people,and should not be ripped off!That's my thoughts on the matter .

maybe its the cost thats stops them bothering to paint every 2 years !!!!?

Hmmm I haven't noticed that - the majority of houses here are in tip top condition

 

but I have noticed the cost of the paint - expensive
