Is this quote right??

Had a quote for putting an aluminium doorframe (to match rest of house) into an internal, plasterboard wall. Inc door it was $800. Thought that was quite a lot! Been struggling to get hold of any carpenters at this time of year and have not been able to get any more quotes as yet.

 

What would you expect to pay?

 

Am also looking for a plasterer (small job) if anyone knows anyone!

most tradies will be on hols, and will be another week or 2...cnt help you out with price tho sorry

Try sending Tina P a pm she knows a guy that does loads of things like that joinery, plumbing, tiling etc - he may do plastering too!
