Where are cheap furniture packages/deals in Adelaide

Hi everyone we have just been accepted on a massive four bedroom house. So we are looking for cheap furniture deals, like 3 piece suits, dining room table with chairs, tv stand, Double Beds & Bunk Beds, etc.

Where do we start looking????? Is there any websites we can look at regarding furniture.

Hi the GoodGuys is always worth a look. Not sure if they do beds and sofas but certainly lots of electrical and white goods and the more you buy the more of a discount you get. They offer less for cash in any event.

There are a few about one in the Mile End Homemaker centre and South Road not sure of the closest one to you.

If you don't mind second hand you can get some good deals on white goods, lawn mower9usually not supplied in rentals) plus furniture etc. if you look in today's Advertiser there is a pullout section called Trader which is pretty good. If your car has a tow bar it is pretty cheap to hire a trailer for a few hours.Trader is in The Advertiser every Friday.

Welcome to Adelaide Tony and family.

Adelaide furniture and electrical - dont know anything about them but their jingle has stuck in my brain

Salvos - was having a special on beds (new just end of factory ranges)

Gumtree - people advertised stuff they no longer want etc

Good luck

We have recently had to furnish our rental as well and got a lot of it in Haggle they do quite good packages. Bought other stuff in Good Guys, Dick Smith and a lot off Gumtree and Ebay. Now need a trip to Ikea to finish off the bits and bobs.

Good luck!

Hiya,

I would recommend Harvey Norman and Fantastic Furniture. Both give good deals if you haggle. We went between Good Guys and Harvey Norman for our electricals seeing if they could beat each others prices managed to get a really good price in the end with a couple of small electrical items thrown in for free.

Good Luck

We used PABS furniture rental - you can rent from one month to forever...even includes stuff like mop/buckets teaspoons etc - we rented from them and on the day our container arrived, they came and packed stuff up as the other guys were emptying the container!! The will do a package (ie three bed house or individual stuff as you need it.) all superb condition etc
