Household waste site

Hi Guys

 

Recently cleared out the house and have too much rubbish and recycle for the normal bins. Just wondered if there is a tip/recycle place in the south, and if you need a permit like i did in the UK?

Call your local council - they'll let you know where the nearest one is

There is one just off the south road on the left hand side after intersection for Seaford.

the council also do hard rubbish collections twice a year free if you pay rates, ask your council they will tell you when the next one is in your area

there is 2 tips at longsdale and 1 just off o sulivan beach road you get charged about $30 a trailer full.

I use the one on south rd just passed Seaford.

cost me between $25 and $35 per trailer.

Just be careful at some waste sites as they check your car rego on the way in and if you're not local (i.e. live in that council area), either turn you away or charge you huge amounts!
