Help...Will the TV work?

Hi everyone,

 

Can anyone ofer some advice, We have a LG Plasma TV and have been advised that it may not work in Australia.

 

Is this right?

I have been told that uk signal is "PAL" Do you know what you have over there?

Australia uses the PAL system for analogue tv transmission. You may have to get a digital tv 'box' (they're about $100) to get the digital transmissions though.

our UK TV y receives all the channels if we set the region to 'Germany' . if its a decent tv, definately bring it as it will work with a digi box.

We have an LG Plasma tv we brought with us and its works fine. Just changed the plug and got a hd set top box.

not knowing if our LG plasma will work or not over here we have sent ours and thought if it doesnt the kids can at least use it for DVD's and Wii etc.. but good to know it will HB will be chuffed
