Critical food advice

OK, not quite critical but pretty important - Whats the nearest Australian product to Ready Brek?

I've been here a year and miss almost nothing but I just can't eat the Uncle Toby Quick Oats that my kids scoff in the morning - its just too vomity chunky. Has anyone found a local version of Ready Brek please, please, please?

I to would be interested in any responses. My daughter is craving ready brek. The porridge oats are the same as UK porridge oats....but no ready brek...shame.

The sachet form of Uncle Toby's Quick Oats seem to be smaller in size of oats than the boxed form. I haven't found anything like Ready Brek over here but I have seen it in the Sweet Shop in Hallett Cove.

just empty the packet dry into a blended whizz it up then make it, don't do it to fine tho!

Have you tried the milo porridge? It's much finer than normal oats and my kids wolf it down every morning (plusi its yummy and choclatey!)

You could always buy fine oatmeal and make it yourself!

Go to the english sweet shop on Jetty Rd at Glenelg. They'll probably have some. Missus gets her pickled onion monster munch from there occasionally.

 

Or just embrace Uncle Tobys as a superior Aussie product.
