On the subject of above ground pools again, does anyone have one and have not got council permission? On their website it says any pool over 30cm deep and with a filtration system has to have approval. Does everyone do this??

yes you will need council approval which will only be given if you secure the area properly too ( pool fence , high locks or self closing doors ect ...)
we have an above ground pool.
we needed council approval.
we only needed fencing around the filtration and the ladder area. the whole thing didnt need fencing as is above ground and not able to fall in, obviously.
