Question importing cooker from the uk

We have lived here very happily for the last 2 + years however I can't get the cooker i want.

I can however get it in the uk for a very reasonable price, however i just need to get it here!

Has anyone else shipped items accross from the uk and roughly how much am i looking at paying?

      Thanks

      Rach

Is the cooker a gas one then it will not be certified to use in Australia.

You can get this done but the cost will be uneconomical.

Without the certification you will not be able to get anyone to install it legally and if you a certificate of compliance for fitting it.

I sugest you keep looking for an Australian cooker.

Sorry for the bad news Rob and Mel
