Ambulance cover

Can anyone advise me of the best policies/cover for family Ambulance cover if you don't have private health? Presently with SAambulance but their renewal seems high, ?

One ambulance call out is around $600 so under $140 for a year for a familiy is a bargin i think!

We've just done a bit of research into this, I believe Ambulance SA was $61 for the year for us (just a couple), not sure what a family was, but we're paying $60/month for our extras cover (they gave us heaps of glasses benefits and we're not tied into a year contract, so can cancel without any penalty apparently after just a few months if we want - will be checking the small print on that one when it gets here lol), so compared to that (it was a cheaper extras policy compared to loads of other quotes I got), its not too bad really

We got a bill for the use of an ambulance 4/5 weeks ago $905. We have ambo cover with HCF $85 for a family of 4 for a year. As you can see we saved a **** load.
