Anyone know a good hotpoint engineer/ electrician?!

G'day all,

Just discovered that my dodgy shipping company has also damaged my hotpoint tumble drier - Grrr. The plug looks a bit black so I'm thinking it's a little dangerous?! Does anyone know / or is anyone a hotpoint engineer or electrician in the Somerton Park area who can check it out?!

Many thanks, a cautious tumble drier user!

Hi Jo, I recently used Lee Edmondson (moved over from the UK many many years ago). Not sure if he does household appliances but I'm sure he'd know someone. His prices were reasonable and he did good quality work. PM me if you want his details - he's fully qualified with 30 yrs expereince.

Thank you lots! Will PM you Kenny! I have used it but it only had broken buttons that had been pushed in too far (shippers did the same to our microwave) and still worked! Black plug is a new addition so will stop now!! Plug is sealed so tricky for me to change. Wasnt sure hotpoint existed here so thought I might find a Pom ex- hotpoint engineer! Lee Edmondson sounds like he might be able to help me. Thanks all. X
