Importing Range Oven from Uk....???

We are looking at importing a Rangemaster oven from the UK and would like to get peoples opinions on this.

 

Price comparisons from here in Adelaide $7500+ compared to buying one in the Uk is 1500GBP, by the time we add on shipping costs and fees etc its still working out a hell of a lot cheaper.

 

From what we have read on the internet there is an issue going from UK gas to Aussie gas connection with having to have it altered. has anybody done this or know more about this? Also with it having to meet the Australian standards?

 

Any advice would be great thanks.

You would need to work out what gas (natural i suspect, we do use lpg in rural places?), and what pressure they run on, then get the nozzles changed to suit, if applicable..sorry its a bit vague my experience is from gas heaters and hobs for campervans and have seen this style of question before. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable in domestic gas will answer

At the risk of asking an obvious question, what do Rangemaster themselves say about the differences between the UK and Aus products?
