Dear all,

 

Can any of the lucky people already there give us some advice and recommendations for companies who do House and content insurances in Adelaide.

Our landlords insurance will be finished when we arrive and will need to sort out our own insurances as soon as possible and even better if we can arrange prior to our arrival as with all the running round doing the other stuff this may be over looked!

 

Any advice would be appreciated.

We are with Allianz they seem ok at the mo! We were hit by uninsured driver and got paid out eventually, a friend has the same prob with the same company and is having major probs. We went with the allianz as you got discount on house and contents if you have car with them!

Allianz is virtually the biggest company here - good or not.

 

If you combine buildings and contents insurance you should get at least 5% discount.

We actually get a little more for haggling and a lot of policies (including motor vehicles).

 

All done through our bank (Bank SA).
