Hi all, we are going to be moving to Adelaide in December. Is there a main energy supplier/internet provider/water supplier in the area or is it like the UK and there are several for you to choose from? If so, which are the best ones to use? Just trying to do our homework so there is less to do when we get there!

We rent, the letting agents got a company to call who guarantee quick connection. The power gets turned off here and you have to pay for connection.

We're with Agl for power and we don't get a choice with the water, the letting agent gets the water bill and sends it to us.

I have been told since, with a lot of rentals the water is included in the rent.

As far as I know SA Water is the only option for water, electricity is AGL/Origin and there are loads of different internet suppliers - Adam are one of the major ones and who I used.

In many cases the landlord is responsible for the basic water rates, but nearly always the water use is paid by the tenant, and in summer this is the higher amount.
