Hi there, we are looking into this process at the moment. It could cost about £1400.00 to fly the pet out, that was based on my dog weighing 12kg. They then have to go into quarantine in Melbourne, Sydney or Perth for 1 month, about £500.00. You then have to get them a flight to Adelaide. At this point I stopped finding the costs. I am still unsure on what to do. Hope that helps. Oh yes and its a good idea to get a pet passport, so that they can come back to uk without 6 months quarantine and there is a 5 month application process to get them in. See DEFRA website. Hope helps. Becky S.

I know, especially if you are then bringing them back a year later! This was our original plan to spend a year in Adelaide and see how we like it, but to pay that much for our dog to join us? I dont think so....
