Baby stuff - where is the best place?

Hi,

 

I am new to Adelaide (have just come over from the UK) and am expecting a baby at the end of September. We haven't bought any baby stuff yet. Please can anyone tell me the best places to go to buy all the right stuff. Haven't seen anything that looks like the equivalent to Mothercare yet!

There's a Baby Target in Golden Grove shopping centre, or a Toys R Us at Modbury if you're that side of town.

 

Other than that, you could try a yellow pages search (www.yellowpages.com.au) for whatever it is you're looking for - baby equipment/clothes/toys etc.

There are a couple of baby shops along South Road, one selling cots etc. There is a Toys R Us at Noarlunga which has a baby section and also try Target, Big W and K Mart.

YCN in the city sells a range of cots n other equipment. Big W is good for chairs n blankets n baths at reasonable price. Target is good also but has a smaller range of hardware, but better clothes. Myer in the city sells cots and has trendier baby clothes. David Jones in the mall has designer baby gear. Kmart...... don't recall they have much apart from clothes, but they sell bedding n stuff.
