Carpet sales and fitters

We are looking to re do one or two of the rooms in our house and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions of where to go/who to use?

 

I'm going to check out Noarlunga carpet co as heard good things about them plus they do off cuts so may be able to find something for a cheaper price that way. But is there anyone else worth checking out?

 

Southern/south eastern suburbs area but don't want to go further south than Port Noarlunga.

We recently got new carpets, we found Bunnings the best. They charge per room, we went for their 2nd highest range of carpets and they charged $560 per room, including fitting.

Surprisingly I had a carpet fitted by Bunnings...nothing to do with the staff discount! Seriously though...if you choose a carpet brand, type of underlay and get a total quote you can get Bunnings to beat it by 10% if they aren't already cheaper.

Le Cornu is worth a look too - both times we have ended up buying from there - they also do offcuts and discontinued lines at big discounts.

Someone else mentioned Le Cornu the other day. We are not often over that way but will talk to hubby and see if we can pop over when its late night opening perhaps.
