Is it a reverse cycle or an evap (swampy) unit?

 

I had some Fujitsu Siemens reverse cycle units installed and they were fine for 5 years without a service (contacted service people who declined a call out...said they didn't need it).

 

A few years ago we had a bloke come out to service two of my evap units. He showed my OH what it entailed and said not to call anyone out again. Took one of the side covers off, hose pipe on the roof, washed out the accumulated dirt, sprayed some silicone spray and everything was over with in just a few minutes. Not everyone is happy climbing on roofs though and OH used to be a firefighter

 

I have the contact details of a local Morphett Vale aircon technician. He's busy with a repair job on one of my split systems at the moment...circuit board has blown. I can give you his name and number if you like?
