Bugs and shipping

Hope this doesn't sound like a silly question but we are hoping to ship most of our framed pictures. We live in a rural area and at harvest time often find that little 'thunder bugs' or thripps find their way under the glass. We've learned to live with them as unfortunately there is no other choice. Do we have to take all our frames apart and clean them out from under the glass before we ship? Are we right to presume we'll have delays at the other end if we don't?

Has anyone else had this problem and what did you do? Would appreciate your comments.

Yep i would clean them definetly as customs may end up charging you to clean or may destroy them, again they charge u for this too!

Thanks for the advice, it's confirmed what we thought. We've just checked and every picture we have has at least one bug under the glass. Looks like we'll have to dump quite a few and clean the rest. None are Rembrandts but some have sentimental value.

Thanks again for answering.
