Frozen pipes!!!!!!

Got an emergency gas/water fitter on his way out. Pipes froze in the night on our water gas heater!!!!!!:arghh::arghh:

Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse.

In the last week the tv has packed up, dishwasher trips out the electricity when it empties, hot tub trips out when it feels like it and never in front of the repair guy, computer broadband has a mind of its own and virgin have decided to stop our mobile phones because they owe us $258 and the computer can't get its bloody head around the fact we're in credit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beginning to think we are cursed!!!!!!

You just don't expect it to get that cold here.

No pipe lagging is there??

 

It certainly has been cold though - I'm off down to my mate's for another load of firewood again!

3 kettles full of water to get the ice off my car - as fast as I was pouring it - it was freezing!!!!!!

Need a complete new gas/water system!!!!!!!!!!!

It's completely shot it!!!!!

The frost last night was on a par with the uk on a bad morning!

Although strangely enough the roads were fine - my car though really caught the sharp end of the frost!

No it won't . Only positive thing to come of it - is that the guy doing the work is a good friend of ours - so I know I'll get a good job done. He's excellent.

Oh Nick!!! What a pain in the bum. Who would have thought that it would be so damn cold here? All those months in the UK wishing winter away so we could get to Australia and be warm, and here we are gathered around the one and only source of heat we have in our house (small gas fire in the lounge room), freezing our t***s off!!

 

Best of luck sorting it all out! Keep looking at 7 news weather forecast where the sunrise gets earlier and sunset gets later....won't be long now and we'll have the aircon on full blast!!! :)

Cheers mate - hopefully he can fit it tomorrow.

If not - may need to bring the kids around.

 

If anyone needs any help with their gas/water heater I can recommend an excellent guy.

Well the smashing up kitchen is right but the cooking thing isn't. So as I have no kitchen to speak of, my suggestion is this...

 

You can have a bath or a shower if I can come and use your cooker!!!

Of course Libby you can cook over here - only prob is I have no hot water to wash the pots! As for Guzzler - what a f******* liberty!!!!! Next thing you know he'll be asking for you to pay for it!

Bob and I have got the washing up covered...PAPER PLATES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

My kitchen is a room with nothing in it!!!!

Hey Nick, hope its all sorted but hopefully we won't get the same 'frost' we had the other day, the radio said its the worst since 1982 !!!!!!! Spring is around the corner.

If we can help with the use of a kitchen (Lib) feel free but my oven isn't the best either its being replaced shortly & our bathroom is 'almost' renovated Nick but the en-suite is there if that is any help.

The gas man is here !!!!!!

Hoorah!!

We all looks like we've been dragged through a hedge backwards and don't smell too sweet either!

He's going to service our gas heater as well!!!!!

Don't know what we would have done without it - it's been on 24/7 for the last few days.
