A few recommendations needed

Hi All,

We are moving into our house 1st Spetember and would like to get a few things done. Was wondering if anyone could advise anyone for the following jobs:

* Gutter cleaning

* Loft insulation

* Alarm fitting

 

Thought I'd ask for recommendations rather than just take pot-luck from the yellow pages.

first of all congratulations on your house purchase, I can't help with the questions asked but if you need a decorator my OH is brilliant! (and I am hard to please on that side of things)

We used Clarks for an alarm as they are cheaper than some of the others, however, I would recommend Chubb (who we used to have). They will always phone you if the alarm goes off eg false alarm etc (assuming it's monitored!) and ask for your PIN number whereas Clarks quite often don't bother!! we are considering going back to Chubb.
