I hope so, because we have one arriving shortly. I shall let you know. I am pretty sure it will because ours is a German one anyway and it worked in UK.

we have used ours out here, no problem at all, just cut the plug of and fit an aussie 1 easy.

another top tip is to bring a 4 way adapter from the uk, u know the ones that allow you to plug 4 things in on 1 plug. when u get to oz change the plug on that to aussie, then u can plug 4 uk things in without any hassle, hope that makes sense..

Yes it will work..........but our friends puchased one in the US and then found out that European and Aussie games will not work on it.

US consoles work on NTSC...UK/Australia are all PAL.

Thanks very much guys, i can be re-assured that my son can spend many more hours squealing at the tv. Actually me and OH spend just as much time on it as him!!

Does anyone know if uk wii games will work on a aussie wii. We bought ours here but the games are so expensive. One game we bought was £12.00 on Amazon and I paid $60.00 in Marion - sickening.
