UK gas cooker worth taking?

Anybody know if UK gas cooker will work in oz - do they use the same type of fittings? Is a gas supply common, or do most people cook on electric? We have a free standing gas cooker, so wondered if it's worth putting in the container.

i would leave it uk most places have fitted gas or electric hobbs in rental places

If you end up buying a house it's usual for the cooker to be left as well.

My advice would be that if you have room in your container - take it - you can always sell it - if you don't need it. My built in cooker is without doubt the crapiest cooker in the world!! The one I had in the old rental was the same!
