Anyone know the best place to go for a new laptop, with no hard sell but just good information, and advise, so I am able to buy what I need.At good value!

I tend to research these things online - and then go to Officeworks as I usually buy Dell kit.

My last purchase a couple of months ago was the Dell netbook - cost $548 - which suits me when I am travelling - our data and applications are accessed via a VPN and Remote Desktop Connection so there is no need for applications on my local machine so long as I can access the internet: I have a USB wireless internet dongle with an Optus SIM, which has worked fine when I have been in Adelaide CBD, Perth, etc.

Bought off Dell and everything is fine

Got my daughter a dell for xmas (the shop in Marion) the guys were knowledgable and friendly without the hard sell. We've had no problems at all with it. Would definantly buy another.
