Electrical trade Assistant

Hi

 

I am a Qualified Irish Electrician but not certified here yet was just wondering do Electrical companies take on trade assistants or how would i get into the industry without being certified .

Look at the neca website, from there they have a list of electrical contractors, I would cold call these & ask 2 speak with either the construction manager or a project manager.

 

At least if they have a project going they would (sorry should) see this as an opportunity to have a skilled T.A. On site at a lower cost than a tradie.

 

Would need to be a fairly large project though.

 

What sort of electrical, commercial, industrial, domestic, catering ?
