I am wanting to start up a small business, importing goods from China. I have a good business plan but no idea where to begin? Has anyone been in a similar situation and able to offer any advice on where I start? Was thinking of selling on Facebook first.Would be so grateful!

Have you tried contacting your local Small Business Enterprise Centre? Your local one is Southern Success http://www.ssbec.com.au/

They often run courses, and offer advice, for small business. I work in a company based in one of the other BECs and I know they do a lot of stuff on setting up online businesses etc.

Worth a call anyway to your local one to see what they can offer.
