495 limitations?

I just read a post that sates that the 495 only allows someone to work for one employer for 6 months? Is this true?

No, no, no, that doesn't sound right at all. The only one I know of that has any restriction is the Working Holiday Visa for 18-30 year olds.

Not right at all, as long as you live and work within the designated area that fulfills the criteria.

Hiya,

Not true at all....you or your partner have to work for 35 hours a week for 52 weeks within the 3 year period from when you activated your visa in "regional australia" (all of S.A) to fulfil the work part of the requirement for PR.

Hi Jomasey, I think you must have read my post (below) from a month or so back when I got frustrated and posted my experience of a Recruitment Agency insisting that I could only work for 6 months for one employer on a 495 which as you know is NOT TRUE! Sorry if I confused you!
