Home carer info?

Theres a friend at work who is planning a career change into care work.They are starting to do a course ,cert 3 in aged care, and believe that they can start work as a domestic help whilst they study. I said Id ask on here just in case there is any ' inside' help for them to get a foot in the door, any phone nos , peoples names.

Ive seen the other thread and got some info from there, just wondered if anything else:)
