got this email today if anyone is looking for an admin role for just a couple of days per week:
Our Administration Officer, has indicated that as from 30th November 2009, she will not be available to work both the Tuesday and Thursday rosters.
Walking SA is therefore looking for a replacement officer to either:
- Job Share or
- Work both the two days
Currently 7 hours is worked on each of these days, but these hours can be flexible. The rate of pay is $20 (approx) per hour.
Attached is a brief work description. (NB From mid-October, the WSA office will be located at Pasadena.)

Duties to be undertaken in an administrative role in the WSA Office may include all or some of the following:
Walking Federation of South Australia Inc
·Day-to-day general office activities eg correspondence, filing, record keeping (in both printed and electronic format)
·Responding to telephone, email and face-to-face enquiries
·Liaison with affiliated clubs on specific matters eg insurance and membership renewals, and maintaining associated records
·Support, as required, to Walking SA Committee and General meetings
·Walking SA Newsletter compilation, editing and production
·Co-ordination, as required, of Walking SA special activities eg the annual Opening of the Walking Season event
·Updating Publicity information and maintaining Display material
Key attributes for person(s) undertaking the administrative role include:
·Competency in Word Processing
·Good co-ordination and communication skills
A friendly disposition
