Hi we have not been here that long but would like to hear from anyboby who has advice on getting a job. I am a chartered surveyor, Royal Institute of chartered srveyors in the UK and I specialise in property valuation, but I am prepared to do anything really to pay our living expenses in the short term has anybody got any advice of good ways to get known around here, Thanks:realmad:

get knocking on some doors....up to 80% of jobs are not even advertised over here...so get yourself a good pair of shoes and press some palms.

Agreed, going direct to companies can be just as, if not more successful than applying through Agencies/papers etc.
