Young Hairdresser Looking for Work

Hi,

 

We have just moved to Adelaide with an 18 yr old daughter who has just gained her NVQ2 back in the UK. She would like to continue her training and further her career so if their are any salon owners in the Adelaide area looking for a junior stylist/trainee, please bear her in mind.

If shes qualified then she can go straight in as a qualified stylist.

Otherwise its a 4 year apprenticeship in Adelaide.

There are always lots of casual jobs about in hairdressing, so will be guarenteed a thursday night and saturday. It takes ages to get full time work, unless a stylist leaves.

Just call around the salons, or go in and speak to the owner to see if there is any positions available.

Best thing to do is ask all the hairdressers they always need staff. My OH went to 3 different Barbers and got offered a job in all 3. i know they were looking for staff at the village at Golden grove but that might be to far for her to go.
