Looking for jobs

My nephew and his girlfriend, both in their mid-late twenties, have just arrived from the UK on a 1-year working visa, and I was wondering if anybody knows of any work, or of any agencies in SA that specialise in placing such people.

Ray is an electrician in the UK, but obviously can't do that here without registration. He can turn his hand to many building trade-type things, such as carpentry, plastering, labouring for tradies etc, and claims to be very good and reliable!

Hayley has a degree in criminology, and has worked with young offenders in prisons in the UK, something she would enjoy doing here. However, she is happy to try her hand at shop work, waitressing, office duties, etc.

Both are keen to work soon, so if anybody can help, please feel free to PM or post.

Isn't it grape harvesting time around now? A call to the Barossa council, McLaren Vale council, or Adelaide Hills council might be a good place to start for suggestions of who to contact.

I'd heard that it was pretty much finished now (from someone who knows someone who was doing it!), but it's definitely still worth a call, just in case they are wrong.
