Refigeration help needed???

Hi

 

I am hoping that anyone who knows about Fridges can help?

We have a side by side fridge/freezer brand new 5 mths old but every now and then it leaks water... ie the condensation that builds up.

Is this normal? Had a quick look and there apears to be some polystiring at the back, should it be there? don't want to dismantle it as it says engineer only??

 

Any help would be great.

That's strange.

It should only be condensation .

A little should occur and there should be a collection point somewhere.

 

Anything more and there is a fault ,perhaps in the insulation??

I would have thought it shouldn't leak at all. It will still be under warrenty so give them a ring and get someone out to check it, won't cost you a thing and then at least you know it's working properly.
