Hi

 

Not sure how I missed this but anyway...

 

Get registered with DECS asap and then drop your CV at schools you can realistically get to if they phone late for doing relief teaching. Work is easier to pick up in the state schools this way. Getting permanent? No idea...still working on it, we've been herre six months and have yet to get a permanent post.

 

Private schools are mostly religious and while some will accept you supporting the ethos of the faith concerned, most expect you to be active members of the church, including taking communion.

 

Some schools expect you to be a member of their particular faith.
