Hi Sharon and Paul

Thanks for your reply

Yes it is very expensive flooring but an excellent choice. There is a lot of floor prep involved in karndean making it an expensive product to have down.

It always looks amazing and is easy to maintain.

Im hopeing that karndean is as big in Australia as it is in England.

I will be flying out middle of december now so if your not in to much of a rush id be happy to come and give you a quote.

I have also heard that flooring is a very good trade out there and will be looking to set myself up with a flooring buisness asap.

Thanks again for your reply Oli Valentine

Yes - I'll have plenty of work for you give me a call when you arrive Matt 0430 581 215

You will have no trouble finding a job floor laying, especially in the commercial side. You would be better staying self employed, you will earn more. You will need a limited licence from the SA Master Builders Association (the local mafia) which is a two weekend course.

good luck

Alright Oliver, I'm Danny from south Wales (the original british one), I just picked up you post on floor laying in adelaide and was just wondering how you were getting on on the work front. I'm in a very similar position as you were then, same age and trade. Wouldn't mind picking your brains over a few things. I have just got my state sponsor in for south Oz, after waiting 3 years for Queensland. My agent seems to thing I will be sent through very fast here. I hope it's going well for you.Regards Danny
