Railway Work In Adelaide

HI everyone only second post so please be gentle!

I am currently working on repairing freight trains in the U.K and hoping to move to Adelaide next june and I am after any information on working on the railway in Adelaide.

I don't tend to see much advertised or mentioned about the railway but if anyone could supply me with information of locomotive repair depots or rolling stock maintenance firms I would greatly appreciate it. (Or if you know someone within a railway company needing a diesel fitter would be fab!)

My Husband works on frieght rolling stock as a maintenance fitter in southampton. although with the TRA he was classed as a aircraft fitter as he used to be in the RAF.

 

I'm not sure how much railway work there is in SA but the was alot of new projects planned for WA -Perth.
