ACCA recognised qualification?

Hi All

 

I'm the other half of Clarky and have a question too!

 

I'm ACCA qualified and contacted them about the move. They say my qualification is recognised downunder - can anyone tell me if this is right? And do employers really recognise it - if you know what I mean!

 

Salaries look fairly comparable with the UK, but is it difficult to find work? I suppose I would be looking for a corporate or bank (I do Asset Securities at the minute - sounds posher than it is!), but have both management and financial accounts experience
