Lift inspector jobs /mechanical inspector jobs

hi everyone does anyone know of any companies that carry out periodic inspections on lifts in adelaide, as this is a job i have wanted to do for some time but cant seem to find any one, not even sure if the same regulations apply over in aus, in the uk these inspections would have to be done under the loler regs.

Hi, work with a mate who is our lift inspector/engineer here and he did a year in Perth about 3 years back. He said the funny thing with Aus lifts is that although hes qualifications NVQ3 installation were recognised he could not touch the wiring, that had to be connected and checked by an electrician. (the sparkies were asking him questions as he had more of a clue then they did).
