i am a self employed tiler here in the uk and i am moving to adelaide next year couldnt find any tiling jobs in adelaide so thought about setting up myself does anyone know what the rates are for tiling and do you need any kind of certificate to tile in oz

when are you arriving.have a mate just startaed his own building services buisness and could be looking to start a tiler next year.He also had his own buisness in uk.

not needed a tiler for a couple of years, but ball park figure per hour would be $50 that includes labour and adhesive,grout etc etc but not tiles. I think you'd need a "building licence" http://www.ocba.sa.gov.au/licensing/ and obviously insurance, and any piccies/referances from previous jobs. Now that i've helped you out, i might need 50 to 70 sq mtr laying next year
